Install Auvyra
Most people should use Docker. It sets up Auvyra and its database together, and takes about five minutes.
Auvyra isn't released yet, so the clone command below won't work until the code is public. Private testers download the test build from the private install page instead. Join testing
You need Docker with Compose v2, Node.js 22.19 or newer to generate your secrets, and 1 GB of free memory.
- 1
Get the code
git clone https://github.com/SkyBlox-Systems/Auvyra auvyra cd auvyra - 2
Generate your environment
This creates
.envwith strong random secrets and prints your setup token.node scripts/generate-env.mjs - 3
Start Auvyra
The database starts automatically and is not exposed outside Docker. This uses MongoDB, the default:
docker compose up -d --buildOr PostgreSQL:
docker compose -f docker-compose.postgres.yml up -d --buildOr MySQL:
docker compose -f docker-compose.mysql.yml up -d --buildOr MariaDB:
docker compose -f docker-compose.mariadb.yml up -d --buildOr SQLite, which needs no database server at all:
docker compose -f docker-compose.sqlite.yml up -d --buildTo follow the logs:
docker compose logs -f web - 4
Run the setup wizard
Open
http://localhost:3000/setupand enter theSETUP_TOKENfrom your.envfile. The wizard checks your system and creates your owner account. - 5
Connect AzuraCast
The wizard walks you through this, or skip it and use Integrations in the dashboard later. See Connecting AzuraCast.
Choosing a database
MongoDB is the recommended default. PostgreSQL, MySQL and MariaDB are fully supported if you already run one of them, and SQLite needs no database server, which suits a small station on one machine. All five pass the same test suite, and you can move a station from one to another later.
